Dear Family!!
Elder Bezerra is sending a hi back to you all. He is happy to talk to you all and maybe see you this mothers day! He made a joke about seeing ashley too, like i haven´t heard that one before. ha
So to answer a few questions, We are already teaching Estefani´s dad, who is progressing and anxious to get married! After that we will have the baptism :) But it all depends on when they can go after their birth certificates. The whole process is a little different here. His wife Isabel, who is a member, is from Ceará, so going after all the paperwork will be tricky. We are going to ask the other mission up there to help us we are thinking.
Mother´s day call, It is one hour still and we can use skype if you all would like. I think it would be fine to use again, just not so rushed. Maybe just leave it stationary and we could have the phone call to talk, and skype to see. that way others can listen. Let me know what you think, either way for me.
The beach and mexico sound great!! Especially that mango! We will have to go right when i get home. To mix up the ingles with spanish and portugues...i think i will give myself a headache.
So i think i forgot to tell you all...but this Friday we had a very special visit from Elder Holland!! Wow, my favorite Apostle! It was incredible, and he took the time to shake everyones hand. Him and his wife were such incredible people. When he shook my hand, he said How´s that red hair here in Brasil?! and laughed. ha! He is a funny guy. But very serious. He talked a lot about the severity of our call. It was amazing to hear what he had to say. He told us that not even his calling is the same as our´s right now. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. He also said that we are a part of the apostleship. But ours is with a small "a", while his is with a big "A", haha. Needless to say, it was a very special experience. Elder Holland was with Elder Mazzagardi as well and the President of the Temple here.
Do you all remember me talking about Iara, Ana Paula´s mom? She is going to be baptized on the 12th! And Renato and Bruno too. They are relatives, young men, of our branch president and young men´s president.
With this conference and the conference of zone leaders with our interviews with President this week, there was not alot of time on the street working! But we were able to start teaching Rafaela, Thiago´s sister. We marked her baptism and Thiago is a very good guide and strong testimony for her.
Well i am sorry this email is very scattered and not very good! I know it is. But I have got to go.
I love you all! Are you going to invite anyone to be taught by your elders there?? :) they will love you!
I am very greatful for this time to serve a mission and i say that we have a prophet and 12 apostles guided by Jesus Christ.
